My name is Jodee, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most challenging times of my life. I am currently facing a situation where my ex committed domestic assault and is currently out on bail - I’ve been put through extreme litigation abuse where I have attended 5 hearings with RO’s being weaponized against me from my abuser and his enablers. Without legal counsel, I had to represent myself and spent the past 4 months preparing and filing the paperwork for EIGHT separate cases!

Since I left the relationship, I finally told the truth of the abuse to my private group chat. It was shared with him and two of his friends, who are convicted felons and on his payroll. They retaliated by relentlessly bullying and harassing me, which continued in the courthouse and inside the courtroom. The judge and security did absolutely nothing about it! Out of fear and self-protection I also reached out to others to seek help, but that backfired and they retaliated hard!

The situation is complicated, as he also exiled me from the startup we founded and refused to pay my wages. In the courtroom he managed to get 6 employees to commit perjury and lie about my involvement in the company. I have mountains of evidence but without legal aid, that seems like an impossible mission.

My main focus, the DV case, is my priority! I will need to fly out to East Tennessee to attend the Trial as the Judge rejected the DA’s request for remote attendance. I will then need to travel to Nashville to attend the hearing a few days after. This is a cost that I simply cannot afford and I’ve been unable to get help from local organizations.

I am determined to stand up for myself and seek justice, but I cannot do it alone.
