Hello my name is Samantha. I am mother to a beautiful & smart little boy named Kahlo Moon.
He is going to be 5 years old this August. I love Kahlo so much. He is my whole world. I have many hopes & dreams for our future. Kahlo & I love camping, kayaking, traveling, caring for our pets, making art, gardening, biking and dancing to funky music. I have been there for all of Kahlo’s milestones (crawling, walking, potty training etc). I surround myself with friends who love Kahlo. Kahlo has little friends his age. Kahlo has a big family. Kahlo has 6 little cousins around his age, grandma & grandpa & lots of aunties & uncles. Kahlo Moon also has a new baby sister, Deja Sun.
He has only been able to see his sister a few times. Kahlo has slowly been torn away from myself and my family through the motions, coercion & misrepresentation in a fraudulent custody case. The case was began by my abuser in 2020.
I tried to coparent with my abuser. I have given him so many chances. He strangled & beat me more than once. His entire family has an abusive dynamic. This is a severe case of Coercive Control.

How do you co-parent with a person who strangled you?
My son Kahlo was “legally kidnapped” by my abuser & the paternal family. They purchased several attorneys & I have not had legal counsel for two years. In 2020/21, I had Free legal counsel & was coerced to allow the case to move forward, with me not understanding the dangerous reality of actually losing my son to my abuser in the future.
My story is public throughout my social media platforms. I decided to represent myself as a ProSe litigant since June 2022, only to be railroaded by the legal system and misguided. I failed to follow certain legal rules, not understanding them. My Right to Due Process has been violated multiple times. In December 2022 & April 2023, the judge held two Ex Parte hearings that significantly took away my parenting time, and then never had follow up hearings within the 14 days to give me an opportunity to be heard. This is a major fundamental error & the 7th district Clay County court will NOT admit they made erroneous errors. They also allowed the custody case to begin without the Recognition of Parentage being signed. The case began fraudulently in October 2020. The ROP was finally signed March 2021. The court has completely ignored the Best Interests Factors & allowed my abuser to terrorize me.
This is an incredibly complex case, it deserves to be made into a novel…or documentary.
I am now facing potential “kidnapping” charges for an incident that occurred recently January 29th, 2024. My actions do not fall under the statute of “kidnapping”, Kahlo and I had a fun time enjoying the weather & activities that are constitutionally protected.
My son Kahlo was Safe & Happy and my actions on 1-29-24 prove that I deserve more time with my son. I am an amazing & fit parent to my son.
The SAME prosecuting office that brushed the strangulation crimes under the rug are now trying to charge me with felonies. The prosecutor admitted they look at my social media.
Truth is a Defense
I will continue to Tell the Truth & not be silenced by my abuser or anyone he works with. I want my son to grow up to be an honest & safe person.
Please help me get my son back so we can live a life full of peace, dignity and happiness.
