I’m creating this fundraiser for my father after he was detained by ICE while working. I am his 23-year-old son, and I’m trying to move quickly to get him the legal help he needs right now.

Since my father was detained, my mother’s income has been cut in half. I am doing everything I can to help support her while also trying to get this legal process started. This has turned our family upside down in a matter of days.

The funds raised will go toward legal assistance for my father’s detention and immigration case, as well as financial assistance for my mother during this hard time. Time is of the essence. I need to find a lawyer in the next couple of days to help make sure my father is not deported before he gets a court date.
