Hello friends and family, and new friends,

As some of you know, my daughter was incarcerated for a year, and during that time I had her daughter, my granddaughter, Astryd, in my custody. It was the end of June when her dad decided to take her from me. After only being clean and sober, himself, for only 4 1/2 months. I knew he was in not in a place to take Astryd, but he knew he could call the police and have them come get her from me (because that is what he told me). I didn’t want it that way, so I had to let her go, even though my heart knew I shouldn’t have.

But now at this time, he has filed for full custody. Thinking (or hoping) my daughter would still be locked up and he would just be able to go to court and that would be final! He is not even willing to give her visits or shared custody. He wants limited and supervised visits. Christmas was the last time we got to spend time with her. But not only does she need her mother, she needs her siblings. They miss her so much! We all miss her..,

But that is why I am here, Family& Friends, to ask for help to bring Astryd back to her home. Where she has a whole family that loves and supports her, and her mother. My daughter came home March 6, and court was originally set for March 18! But now we; me, Eryka n Astryd, need to have an attorney for the hearing. It was postponed to March 27… and honestly, I don’t have the $5,000 to obtain the attorney.

So I’m asking if you can find it in your heart to help me bring my granddaughter back home, or get joint custody, my family would greatly appreciative
