
Legal Fund to Oppose Zone Change

The proposed zone change to multi-use would permit high-density housing, commercial, and light industrial development at 3502/3506 Lexington Rd. This area is identified as single-family residential on the future land use map. Our community would like to see the zone remain single-family residential and is seeking legal support to represent us at the Madison County Fiscal Court. It is unknown at this time when the hearing will take place, but the next hearing is Tuesday, Feb. 28th so we need to act fast to be successful. The hourly rate is $240/hour with a $5,000 retainer. The additional $250 is to cover GoFundMe fees. Any part of the retainer not used will be refunded.
