This is a humble request to help a fellow activist who needs support. Stephanie is a dear friend who I’ve gotten to know over the years in activism. While volunteering in a political caucus aimed at addressing Veterans issues, Stephanie, alongside others, was targeted in a baseless lawsuit by a former member of the caucus. While I cannot go into details publicly as that could harm her case, please know this case is frivolous and unsubstantiated. Either way, she must respond with assistance from a lawyer.

As you probably know, lawyers are expensive. Stephanie is very upset that this lawsuit is taking money and valuable time away from the work she’d rather focus on such as Deported Veterans, Healthcare for All, and legislation geared towards Veterans that have been forgotten.

Stephanie is a dear friend who does not deserve this. I am asking my network to support her fundraiser for legal expenses. It is my sincere hope is that this gets resolved as soon as possible so that Stephanie can return to organizing and fighting for the underrepresented in full force. Thank you.
