On Thursday April 11th, Plain Kate's chef, Juan Pu, was taken by two plain clothed ICE agents while walking with his family in Littleton.  The agents showed no ID and put him in an unmarked car.  Mr Pu is now at a detention center in Dover, NH and will remain there for at least a few weeks until a judge can hear his case.

We hope the community will help to raise funds  towards Mr Pu's legal expenses as well as bond. Bond alone is expected to be around $18,000. 

Every little bit helps. We so appreciate how so many  have risen up in support of Mr Pu as a valuable member of our community.

Please also contact your representatives as ICE has a lot of discretion with these situations and our politicians may be able to lobby for more leniency.
