Pastor Watts and the members of Westside Ministry, Inc. independently labored and sacrificed for the establishment, well-being, and upkeep of their church building located at 51 Marshall Lane in Pensacola, Florida. Pastor Watts and his congregation live very modest lives. Yet, they came together and pulled their resources together, and began building themselves a new church building. The members of Westside Ministry, Inc did not receive any funds from the Church of God in Christ's local jurisdiction or national church. Pastor Watts, the members, family, and friends volunteered countless hours of free labor for over a decade to help build this edifice. Those unable to volunteer sacrificed and gave extra monetary donations when needed. At the same time, some went above and beyond and took out second mortgages on their homes to help meet the financial need that comes with independently building a new structure. And now that the church is complete and operational, here comes a Church of God in Christ Bishop attempting to steal the church from its members. The Church of God in Christ local jurisdiction or its national church in Memphis, Tennessee DID NOT contribute funds or labor to the building of Westside Ministry, Inc. Yet, the Church of God in Christ bishop is trying to take ownership of a building he did not labor for, and leave its members without a place to worship. Westside Ministry, Inc is a small congregation that is in need of immediate funds to help obtain legal representation. This small congregation is trying to defend itself against the Church of God in Christ's local jurisdiction and its national church. The Church of God of Christ is an international organization that has allowed its bishops to steal property from everyday hardworking people for years. COGIC MUST BE STOPPED! Although they are trusting and believing in God to bring them out, they are in need of immediate finances.
