Hi, my name is David and I need to raise funds for legal fees to help my son see his children and my grandchildren who we miss terribly.

I am a 78 year old grandfather who hasn't seen his grandchildren for over a year.

My son and his ex wife broke up and although we have done nothing wrong we cannot see the kids. My son is at his wits end and is very depressed. This spirals into all of our lives and we are all worried about him.

We cannot get legal aid and have been told we will need at least £12000 for a solicitor. There is no guarantee they will win us our children back but the reports from social services are favourable.

The grandchildren used to spend 3 days a week with us but our son's ex re married and her new husband changed everything. He is a convicted domestic abuser and we worry for our grandchildren.

Social services are always telling us "You need a solicitor" which we have no money for hence this Gofundme.
