My name is Katrina Doiron and I have been wrongfully charged with Theft of Cattle over $5000. My name was plastered all over the internet and news channels with an RCMP statement declaring I had a warrant for my arrest for stealing a horse. I found out when I opened Facebook last week. My name quickly spread like wild fire across social media. As I have already sunk $4500 of my own money into lawyers fees after being screwed out of 6 months of pay I was relying on receiving, my Lawyer has suggested crowdfunding. Due to the actions of the other party and their escalation, and the unfair actions and reporting of the RCMP and news outlets, this fight has just become much larger than we initially thought it would be. I feel in my heart I cannot back down, as there are so many people who go on in life behaving horribly, taking advantage of people and loopholes in our system, and they are rarely held accountable. I feel I MUST use this opportunity to hold Morgan and Joe Tymchuk accountable- not only for myself and every other person they have screwed over, but also for all the trainers, business owners, and good people everywhere who have been hurt or screwed over by people like them. It is time for them to face accountability for their actions.
I have tried to share my story as best as I can across my social media platforms. I have had the most incredible outpouring of support from not only friends and family, but complete strangers- I have the utmost gratitude. I will share the links to the news stories and my own posts here for those interested to research before deciding to help my cause. I thank each and every person who is willing to provide financial support for this battle. As hard as it is to ask for help, I know I cannot do this alone and do not have the funds to continue in the long term. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
