Legal Fees For Eric Kanevsky and Hugo Bai

On March 29, Hugo and I filmed what was supposed to be a harmless and funny lecture prank at USC. Things got out of control when a student falsely accused us of having a gun, which led to us getting arrested at gun point. Some of the police offices were fans and thought the whole thing was ridiculous, but it was ultimately up to their higher-up. The professor did not wish to press charges.

USC, a school that is already worth billions, is now trying to sue us. They are now spreading fake news and trying to make the whole thing seem like a massacre. They’re trying to claim that we “targeted a Holocaust class because I made a reference to ‘Hugo Boss.’” Hugo Boss is the name Hugo goes by. It has been his nickname since he was a kid. Furthermore, I am Jewish and moved to America as a Jewish refugee.

None of this is right. Hugo and I need strong legal representation to go up against a multi-billion dollar corporation but we currently do not have the means to afford it.
