Legal fees for my family

Hello all!
Thank you for taking the time to read our campaign. My family and I are here to ask for your help as we continue, and hopefully end, a long legal battle with our father and his lawyer. We are going after our father for the thousands in child support he owes since the day he walked out of his family’s life. This has been a long-fought battle that has taken a huge emotional, physical and financial toll on all of us. We've had to endure this for the longest time, and have gone through devastation and fear. We're tired of letting him get away with this.
The day that he left, he took with him anything he could from my mom and us, leaving her to take care of 4 kids all on her own. She has fought and battled since that day to give all of us as close to a normal life as possible, trying her hardest to make sure we’ve always had whatever we needed. With recent health issues coming up, that battle has become harder and harder for her to fight. If we can finally get justice against my father, then my mom can finally get the break she so clearly deserves and needs.
Family Maintenance Enforcement Program, FMEP, is involved, but they can only do so much, as our father has made this situation extremely difficult for everyone. Lawyers and legal fees are expensive and time consuming, and unfortunately, we just don’t have the funds to move forward and finish this. So, we’re asking for absolutely anything that you can spare to help us out. The money will be used to cover legal fees and expenses, such as a lawyer, and the remainder will be donated to RC Palmer Secondary school, the high school my little brother and I attended, to help and assist students facing financial hardship.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to us, and any encouraging words you can send would be amazing and will really help in keeping our spirits up.
