I've had a few friends private message me and ask me why am I leaving this page up. The reason is the expense of adopting is higher than $1,000. My train of thought when I made this page was if I put a large amount of money on this page it may discourage someone from giving because it seemed too high; and I felt I'd be asking for too much. After explaining this to a few supporters they thought I should put this explanation on here. Be assured that any money that comes in pass the original goal is still being used for the same purpose. I am grateful and Incredibly humbled by any expression of your generosity.

This page is to help me out with the expense of adopting Michael; As some of you may know, I have been a constant presence in Michael's life for the past 10 years. After much thought, prayer and cooperation with his mother, we have decided I should legally adopt him.

Even though my heart is full of love, my bank account is not full of money. With filing fees, court and attorney fees, I've come to realize I could use some assistance. Anything you can give to help, will be greatly appreciated.
