Legal Fees Emergency Custody Order

Following a violent domestic violence dispute in his legal residence, we are trying to get an emergency custody order in place for our 14 yo pre-verbally autistic son so he can remain in our care.  We have long suspected things were amiss for him, but had no idea that his home life involved violence. Before this event happened we pleaded with the mother to allow the 14 yo to stay with us, while we continued to pay full child support and facilitate visitation because he was doing so well.  She refused.  Luckily she also put off comings to get him, insisting we drive our son to her  -because if we had not, the child would have been in the house when this happened.  We need to immediately raise $3500 for a retainer fee. All other funds will go to subsequent legal fees. If there's anything remaining it will go towards trauma counselling/therapy for our 14yo..
