Over the past year, my sisters and I have been fighting for answers surrounding our father’s death. Many people who know us have followed this journey, shared our posts, signed our petition, and stood beside us as we have continued advocating for further review and investigation.

I have used my platform to discuss publicly available records, ask questions, and push for our father’s case to receive attention through the proper channels. We have also reached out to law enforcement and government officials in our continued effort to seek answers for our family.

Now, I have been named as a defendant in a civil lawsuit, and I need qualified legal representation to protect my rights and properly respond to the claims against me. I am not asking anyone through this fundraiser to decide who is right or wrong. I am asking for help so the facts, evidence, and legal issues can be addressed through the court process the way they should be.

This past year has already been incredibly difficult for me and my sisters, and the financial burden of hiring an attorney is something I never expected to face on top of everything else. Funds raised will go toward: attorney retainers, legal fees, court costs, filing expenses, and other necessary expenses directly related to my legal defense.
