Legal defense of Charles Williams, Jr.

I am raising funds for Charles Williams, Jr. Earlier this year, Mr. Williams became another example of a Black man shot by the police.

 

Mr. Williams was home with his wife; the police arrived without any clear reason for being there. Following an exchange of words, the police began shooting at Mr. Williams who, in an attempt to protect himself and his wife, fired back. No police were injured; Mr. Williams and his wife were both injured by police fire. Now, he is in the position of defending his actions. No charges have been brought against Mr. Williams for any action prior to the exchange of gunfire with the police at his house.
