If you know Sierra, then you know Sierra is an involved community member, a true comrade and dedicated activist. She was unjustly arrested in LA on 9/6/2020 for attempting to exercise her first amendment rights in honor of Dijon Kizzee who was killed by the LASD. Several sheriffs arrested and handcuffed her after pulling her from a parked car while she was attempting to leave the area. She was never given a dispersal order and wasn't told why she was being arrested until the next morning. She was booked and held by the LASD overnight and had thousands of dollars of her property seized illegally. She committed no crime, had nothing illegal on her and yet her charges have not been dropped and her phone as well as her other belongings have still not been returned to her. She and her comrades experienced illegal harassment, and in some cases, extreme violence at the hands of the LASD that week. She has expierenced severe PTSD symptoms since her arrest. We are asking for financial support so that she is able to hire aggressive representation to fight back against these political charges as well as cover any court fees or fines.  

Sierra has been helping her community for years as a restorative justice volunteer, a protestor and as a member of Inland Empire DSA. She has given selflessly to this movement and many others over the years and now she needs some community care so please give what you can and share if you can't give. 

Sierra has always been a fierce advocate for all oppressed people and has continually showed up for and put her body and freedom on the line for others. Let's make sure she stays free and fight back against this state suppression and surveillance as aggressively as we can. 

Sierra has asked that any funds donated that are not used directly for her case be split between bail funds in LA and the IE.
