Legal costs - help me fight for Kleinish Blue

Donation protected
Bad news - yesterday I got served papers from a Paris court.

I’ve been ordered to pay Yves Klein’s family money for sharing my Incredibly Kleinish Blue paint with artists.

I spent 10 years making it my way, and you can see how I did this in a film, Wall Street Journal made:

Sadly, I didn’t have a chance to defend myself as they never even contacted me. It went straight to court without me having my say.

I have two months to appeal and fight back.

The legal costs on this are big, as we’re talking international law here.

Even though they own the trademark ‘YVES KLEIN’, they are saying that they also own the word KLEIN
They don’t!
And that my packaging is encroaching on their trademark.

They are also asking for money for when I painted my hand blue.

So I really need your help.

If you believe artists shouldn’t have their work dictated by rich corporations and that colour should be for everyone.
Please donate whatever you can to help with this fight.

I’ll keep you posted on how I get on.
Knowing you are on my side will give me the strength and confidence to stand up to them.

I’ve also made a few original blue paintings using my paint.
I’ll only ever make 3 and if you want one - I’ll put the money towards this battle too.

Thanks for being there and believing in me.
