Our friend needs support. Reina has been a part of our lives and our family for more than ten years now. She is currently being detained by immigration and while she has a lawyer to help submit paperwork on her behalf, legal fees are expensive.

Reina has lived in the US since 1988. She is a valuable member of the community and has worked hard to create a better life for her children than what was possible in Honduras. 

She is currently being held in detention until they can look at her case, which could take weeks, months...we just don't know. Her family is reluctant to ask for financial help because they don't want to seem like they are pressuring anyone -- which is why I am making this request. She deserves to have people rally around her.
