I'm Cody, Tyson and Alicia's dad. They're with me in Alaska on a temporary emergency basis. They were both the victims of family violence perpetrated by their custodial parent and her boyfriend. Criminal charges are now filed in Idaho, but the civil case still continues.

The children each had forensic interviews, which was difficult and traumatic for the kids. Fighting this pro se has become very difficult. We are trying to raise $3500 for a retainer fee for an attorney based in Idaho to help with the emergency custody appeal. Despite the evidence, the court still denied the motion, forcing us to file an appeal. The risk of the children going back into the custodial home with ongoing family violence would prove to be horrific and possibly worse.
