Hey Everyone, 

The past month has been quite an emotional one, to say the least. An anonymous FaceBook/IG page piqued the interest of many students, alumni, and non-students in the Fredericton area but caught the attention of a particular group of people. The page shared stories (anonymously) of numerous accounts of sexual assault that happened on campuses in Fredericton. Even more troubling was that one of the perpetrators was an employee of UNB as a psychiatrist who largely serviced students through the Student Health Centre. As stories flooded in, survivors began forming a support group to lean on each other in a time of uncertainty. Through this group, the survivors showed an immense amount of strength and courage by coming forward as well as some have made formal complaints and reports surrounding this issue. They have also begun making requests, suggestions, and recommendations to UNB in terms of systematic change-something that has been long overdue on university campuses.

Survivors of the UNB psychiatrist have decided to take legal action and need some community support to raise funds for the fees associated with the case. Before the case can begin, we need to raise 3k. We know with COVID-19 that funds are a bit more scarce than once upon a time, so we're not expecting much, but seriously any amount that can be donated will be so much appreciated. If nothing else, these folks deserve some justice <3
