My cousin Bella’s child, Owen, is a joyful, adorable, and wonderful baby. Bella is a single mother who works hard every day to raise her son on her own. She is a strong and independent woman who loves spending time with Owen and has been his primary caregiver since the day he was born.

Now, nearly a year later, Owen’s biological father has returned and filed a court case seeking full custody. He is also requesting that Bella pay child support and additional expenses including his lawyer fees. This has placed an overwhelming emotional and financial burden on her.

As many of you know, in the United States it is extremely difficult and expensive to secure legal representation, especially for ongoing court proceedings. Bella is trying her best to manage doctor’s appointments, checkups, court dates, and daily responsibilities, but she truly needs our help, support, and prayers during this time for both her and Owen’s well-being.
