Help a Loving Father and Legal Asylum Seeker Reunite with His Family
On May 31, 2025, my neighbor and friend Arthur was unjustly detained by ICE from his home in Virginia—despite having lived lawfully in the United States for nearly a decade. Arthur is a devoted husband and father of three, including a U.S. citizen child. He has worked legally, paid taxes, followed every rule, and has a long-pending asylum application that he filed in 2015 due to a well-founded fear of persecution if returned to his home country.
Just three days before his arrest, Arthur completed his long-awaited asylum interview. Despite this, ICE detained him, claiming they could find no record of his case—an assertion that contradicts the facts. His detention is not only heartbreaking but also unlawful, as explained in the habeas petition filed on his behalf.
Now, his wife and children—who have also lived legally in the U.S. and complied with all immigration requirements—have received Notices to Appear before Immigration Court. They urgently need legal representation to remain together as a family and to fight their own deportation cases.
We are raising funds to help cover legal fees for Arthur and his family. Every dollar goes directly toward ensuring this family has the legal support they need to challenge unjust detention and removal proceedings.
Please help us stand up for justice and compassion. Help us bring Arthur home.
