I’m creating this fund because of the devastation our has family faced over the weekend. Thank God everyone made it out alive. But as you all can imagine we have suffered a tremendous loss.
Our home has been in our family for over 40 years. My grandmother, father, aunts and uncles have all worked very hard to keep our home in our family.  As many of my siblings, cousins as well as myself, were all born only knowing this house as home.  Despite being  immensely grateful for everything we’ve received through having this home, as well as making it out with our lives. We’re all currently homeless. Along with our 90 year old grandmother who is bedridden, as a result of suffering two stokes within the last two years. And my elderly uncle who’s fighting  cancer and has to receive dialysis.
We’re trying very hard to look towards a better tomorrow. But knowing that we don’t have a place for us to be together for the holidays is another heartbreaking reality we all must face. We literally have nothing salavageable. The Red Cross has offered help but only for the weekend.
God willing this platform gives us all an opportunity to start over. This couldn’t have happened at a worse time, as we all know regardless of how it happens there’s never a preferred time for tragedy. But as you all can imagine this is beyond disappointing. 
We’re praying for unity within our community. Family, friends, please any leading hands will be helpful. And we’re hopeful that our message can be heard, so we can at least give my grandmother the Christmas wish she’s praying for.
