Free from commercial interests; it is crucial that we ground in this work to pass down the traditions, cultural, and spiritual technology of our Ancestors.

Birthing customs, practices, rhythms, and rituals connect us to the essence of our existence and delivers the pathway to greater health for our babies. It is our hope to bring black birthing people back into the care of black midwives. It is our duty to keep alive the sacred and time-honored traditions which have shown to improve maternal health outcomes as well as to center birthing people in full spectrum reproductive health care and home birth options. At a time when Obstetric violence in hospitals claims the lives of 3 to 4 times more black women than white women; we need to take a look back in order to move forward.
