Courtney LaBelle, a beloved daughter, sister, and dedicated educator, passed away after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Throughout her life, Courtney exemplified resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the people and passions she loved most.

A proud supporter of Florida State University and an enthusiastic soccer fan, Courtney’s greatest passion was teaching. She believed deeply in the power of education to transform lives and worked tirelessly to inspire her students to reach their fullest potential. In her classroom, she fostered curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence—especially in mathematics, a subject she truly loved. To Courtney, teaching was more than a profession; it was a calling rooted in service, encouragement, and the belief that every student deserved the opportunity to succeed.

In honor of Courtney’s life and lasting impact, the LaBelle family has established the Courtney LaBelle Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in education and/or mathematics. It is designed to support future educators who share Courtney’s dedication to learning, leadership, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
