It is with great sadness that I am creating this fundraiser for Legs.   I know that many of us have been waiting for Legs to be cremated, so that  memorial service can take place, Legs can be laid to rest, and we can all move forward through our grief. Shane, her family and her closest friends desperately want to get her back and have her with them. Now, we are asking for help to make that happen.   
When Leg's family was first informed of her passing, their immediate and gracious response was that they would gladly take care of everything.  Unfortunately, the fees assessed by the county for her cremation, toxicology report, and autopsy have totaled nearly triple what anyone expected, $1700.   Sadly it is just more than they can afford, but until this bill is paid, Legs will be held in limbo and not be released to Shane, who also cannot afford to cover those fees.    
Any donated amount over the amount of the bill will be donated in Leg's name to the Milo Foundation near Willits, CA. They are an animal rescue organization that Shane visited in July, run by really fantastic people who care for abused and neglected animals and love them just as we all know Legs loves animals.
