Help us save Mary's leg.

Hi, my name is Bryan. My family and the Yaxcal family are raising money for Mary Yaxcal, a 26-year-old young woman living in Belize, Central America. Mary was hit by a car on December 11th and has multiple severe fractures to her right leg.

The surgery for these kinds of fractures is not available in Belize so we are working to fly her to the U.S. to get her the care she needs. We already have an orthopedic surgeon at the Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut who has volunteered his time for free to perform this operation. We are raising money for an air ambulance flight from Belize to Connecticut, quoted at $45,000 USD and for the use of an operating room at the hospital which the surgeon estimates will be $20,000. Anything you can do to help us defray these costs would be greatly appreciated.
