Left to Die-Reba and Cooper

Hey everyone, meet Reba and Cooper. I was told there were two starving to death pit bulls that needed rescuing. I knew nothing, I didn’t have photos so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. It honestly couldn’t have been worse. I’ve never seen dogs this severe in real life. Later I found out the owner fell ill and went into hospice weeks ago (if not months) leaving his dogs to starve to death. One did starve to death and these two barely hanging on. After hours of bathing blood, flea and ticks off of them, they finally found comfort and relief for the first time in maybe years. Cooper has broken ribs, Reba cannot stand for long before she falls over unable to even lift her head. The good news is they are eating and drinking! They will be going to the vet first thing Monday morning for X-rays and testing galore.  I am asking for any help if at all possible, every dollar is a huge help! These babies are gentle, they are pure love even after the neglect and abuse they went through. We can certainly learn so much from them from grace and love they emanate during this time of struggle. Dogs never cease to amaze me in situations like this. Thank you so much if you made it down this far! If anything, please send healing thoughts their way with the intention they will pull a Mackee and fully recover and then some. My intention is to get them fully healed and ready to find their furever homes one day.  Thank you all SO much!!!
