Leffelman Family of 7 Need Help After Fire

Please help clients and friends of mine. They had a fire in their home last night in LaSalle, IL, 4/29/23. The Red Cross is giving some assistance to them, but they will be needing a place to stay and much more as there are 2 adults and 5 children. Also, to save the only surviving pet, there is a large vet bill now. Thanks to some direct donations earlier, this balance has been nearly all taken care of. Thanks to all who helped there! Please help us share this post and see if we can give them some more help! One of the children has Autism, so extra personal needs are another added expense.

Here's their story:

I just want to let everyone know the worst nightmare happen to my family and I. Our family of 7 tonight lost our home! A fire broke out and we lost 3 dogs and one we are taking to an emergency vet right now in Bloomington! We lost almost everything to the smoke damage but our kitchen is completely gone! Thank you LaSalle fire department and everyone that worked endlessly to save what could be saved! Most importantly all of us are ok everything can be replaced, just not lives! Keep us close to your heart please it’s going to be a hard couple months! Much more damage just this is where it started! The funds will help with a place for the family to stay while it's determined what will happen with their home, it will help get clothing & personal items as needed, provide meals, and help with emergency pet care for Sage.
