On May 4th 2018, the day of the terrible wind storm, Leetha Joshua unfortunately met with an accident; a billboard flew in the air and hit both her legs. She is currently having traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures in her legs. Thankfully, a bystander found her in this terrible accident and called the paramedics where she brought to Trillium, where she was then intubated and referred to Sunnybrook hospital, Toronto. It was in Sunnybrook hospital, the brain surgeries were performed and the doctor confirmed that she has catastrophic brain injury. She still remains in a special care unit in Trillium. Leetha is a caring nurse, a mother of 2 small children, and a wife. 

This is where our call for help comes in. This doesn’t deserve to happen to anyone and for us especially our sweet, caring, positive, brave and courageous Leetha Unfortunately, she is not having a workplace insurance to cater her further needs in terms of care.
