Leesa's Final Farewell: Your Support Matters

A Loving Tribute to Leesa Carter
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I share this. Yesterday morning, at 9:30 AM, my mother returned home from visiting her daughter and found her sister, Leesa Carter, had passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Leesa fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Despite her challenges, she rarely complained, always radiating strength and grace. While we knew she had grown weaker, we held hope in her remarkable resilience, as she had overcome so much before. However, God had bigger plans for her this Christmas and New Year, calling her home to celebrate in His presence.
Our family is heartbroken and at a loss for words. As we come together to honor Leesa’s life and plan her final farewell, we face the financial burden of arranging a funeral during the holiday season. Unfortunately, many life insurance providers do not offer coverage for terminal cancer patients on disability, leaving us without the financial support we would have hoped for during this difficult time.
This loss was unexpected, as Leesa’s most recent lab results gave us no immediate cause for concern. But her body was tired, and she was ready to rest. We are so grateful for the eight additional years God blessed us with after her initial diagnosis, and we will forever cherish the memories we shared with her.
We humbly ask for the support of loved ones, friends, and kind-hearted strangers to help ease the financial strain of laying Leesa to rest. Your generosity, no matter the size, will mean the world to our family as we navigate this loss.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
