Lee's Pancreatic Cancer Care and Support
Donation protected
We are reaching out to ask for your support for an incredible man - Lee Preston Wiens. Very recently, our lives were turned completely upside down when Lee was suddenly diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer.
Lee has been a hardworking man all his life. He dedicates his days to caring for the land, animals, and those he loves. He is a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather while maintaining a youthful energy and spirit. Seven years ago, he met my mom, and together they built the most beautiful life full of love and adventures. He is a gentle soul who finds joy in nature - whether its digging for crystals, tending to his beloved aloe plants, or discovering unique pieces of wood to turn into art. He knows everything about plants, loves drum circles, and has always been a source of quiet strength and wisdom to those around him.
Lee and my mom have three rescue pet pigs and about thirty barn cats, which he loves very much and cared for every day before this illness. Before this diagnosis, he worked late nights at environmental services at MSSU.
Despite extreme pain, Lee continues to push through with the same strength and determination he has always shown. But this cancer is progressing horribly quickly and we want to make sure he is as comfortable and pain-free as possible. This sudden change has left them with travel, medication, and other costs that are quite large and extremely difficult to manage, as my mom has had to take off work while Lee has been in the hospital and in-home hospice.
We are asking for any financial help to support Lee's care during this difficult time. Every donation will go towards his medical needs, treatments, and ensuring he has comfort in the days ahead.
Lee has spent his entire life giving to others - whether through his hard work, kindness, eternal wisdom, or deep love. He has lived a million adventures that are too numerous to list. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Any support, no matter how small, will make a difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us support this wholly beautiful soul.
