Leeloo Medical Boarding!

Hello, friends. As many of you know, I am undergoing spinal surgery on Feb 15th, and will be hospitalized for several days after. My cat, Leeloo Dallas Multipass, has severe asthma and is going through a particularly bad flare right now. She has spent the last two nights in the ICU, requiring oxygen supplementation. She’s stable now, but needs constant observation, and meds/rescue inhaler every 6 hours. Unfortunately, I cannot give her the care she needs while I’m hospitalized, but the animal hospital can board her, where she will get 24/7 care and oxygen supplementation if she needs it. The animal hospital quoted me $1500 for five days, $500 more if she ends up needing oxygen. Between her two ICU visits ($3500), and my own surgery and hospitalization (which will be over $6k), I am humbly asking the wonderful folks in this community for help. I don’t have much to offer in return, besides my gratitude- but once I’m more mobile after surgery, if you donate, I will happily make you a baked good, a silly little painting or sketchbook or felt ornament, or give you a tarot reading, or whatever you want.
