Hi, my name is Mel. I’ve been unemployed since early 2024, and I’m raising funds to help my cat, Leeloo, get the medical care she urgently needs.

Leeloo has significant dental disease, and her veterinarian has confirmed that she will likely need multiple tooth extractions. One of her teeth is currently being reabsorbed by her gums, which is extremely painful. She has been struggling with ongoing discomfort, and while pain medication helps a little, it’s not enough to relieve her pain long-term.

Because of Leeloo’s age, she needs bloodwork done before the procedure to make sure it’s safe for her to undergo anesthesia. After the extractions, she will also need prescribed pain medication to keep her comfortable while she heals. All funds raised will go directly toward covering the cost of her dental surgery, required blood tests, and post-procedure medication.

The total estimated cost for everything is up to $1,310 after taxes. Every dollar donated will be used solely for Leeloo’s veterinary care.

Leeloo is my furry child, and it breaks my heart to see her in pain knowing there is a treatment that could greatly improve her quality of life. I would never ask if I had another option, but I simply can’t afford this procedure on my own right now.
