Hi!
My name is Leela.
My project, LeelaMaps is preparing for impact.
LeelaMaps is a social map notes platform, where users can post & search anything, among friend networks and the nearby public. Notes on the map can include text, media, payment, comments, and more.
You can map now on LeelaMaps beta.
I suggest trying it out! However, LeelaMaps needs a new, clean build as a native app– that's why this GoFundMe exists.
The development team, Geeks of Kolachi, has already worked with me to create an amazing redesign and they want to go forward with building the back end. We just gotta pay their bills!
About Me
When I was soon to be born, Hindu living saint Shree Maa had a prophesy that I will change the world and become a saint. Then, I was birthed on Krishna Janmashtami, the birthday of the Hindu god Krishna.
This was a lot to process, so after dropping out of high school I got a degree in psychology and proceeded to have a spotty career as a psychological researcher, political volunteer manager, land surveying administrator, SF tech socialite, and interactive theater performer.
Through this ride of life, I have felt like an anthropologist in a bizarre, repressed era. I witness communities with resources that are underutilized, and widespread addiction to heavily programmed media devices.
LeelaMaps is my solution, as it gives users full control & context of the content shown to them. By connecting information to location, we can efficiently share access to resources.
