Leelah Needs Surgery to Stop Infection Spread

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart about my beloved kitty, Leelah. She’s only 4 years old and has been diagnosed with a severe genetic mouth infection. According to our vet, this condition couldn’t have been prevented—it’s just something she was born with.

Right now, we’re managing her pain and inflammation with medication, but this is only a temporary solution. To truly save her, she needs a surgery to extract most of her teeth. Without it, the infection could worsen and even spread to her brain.

Leelah is so much more than a pet to me—she’s my little companion, my source of anhored light, comfort and joy. Shes my little july cancer baby. The most gentle little soul :( Seeing her in pain breaks my heart. I want to give her the chance to live a healthy, happy life, free of this dumb debilitating condition.

The cost of her surgery is more than I can handle on my own at the moment, which is why I’m turning to the kindness of friends, family, and animal lovers like you. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and to Leelah.
