Lee-Jae is my 18 year old cousin who lives in Jamaica. Lee- Jae was diagnosed with a rare disorder, Chiari malformation, that requires surgery. Chiari malformation is a condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. It occurs when part of the skull is abnormally small or misshapen. The disorder can potentially cause severe, life-threatening complications and requires surgical intervention before her condition worsens. The surgery costs 4.1 million Jamaican Dollars which is equivalent to about £21,000 .

We are completely aware that 2020 has been such a tumultuous year for so many, and we understand if you are unable to support financially. We thank you in advance for any donation may it be great or small and we ask that you share with as many people as possible in an effort to get Lee-Jae this much needed surgical intervention.

The Gordon's in Jamaica, Canada and the USA are all pitching in to raise these funds and I am doing my bit in the UK to trying and raise £10,000 to go towards the surgery fees, medical costs, medication, consultant appointments and aftercare.
