Leeds University CU Carol Service 2019

The CU Carol Service each year is an amazing opportunity for many students in Leeds to hear the true message of Christmas, the good news of Jesus coming to earth. The Town Hall provides the best venue in Leeds to make this happen, where up to 1200 can come and enjoy an evening of carols and hear the gospel.
However, due to low finances we cannot currently go ahead with our plans to have the Carol Service take place here, and are not able to find a suitable alternative. Please would consider giving to Leeds Uni CU, and pray with us that this event would go ahead and that many students would be changed through hearing the truth of who Jesus is:
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
The money you kindly give will go to Leeds Uni Christian Union for the cost of putting on the Carol Service at the Town Hall - for the venue, refreshments, take-away gifts for visitors. We, the students at CU, want to make this as warm and inviting an environment as we can for all students studying in Leeds. The money raised will be transferred to the CU bank account which then will be used for the costs of the things above to make the Carol Service happen. Thank you for your generosity!
