Hello, I’m Danielle the coach and director of - Leeds Dynamite dance!
We have been running since 1999. We are a self funded community group so everything we do for our kids and what we enable our kids to do is through fundraisers. From entry to competition to costumes.
Our aim is to keep everything affordable so no child misses out!
Please help me get this amazing team Leeds Dynamite - TNT to the Allstar World championships in America
We are the first team in the whole of Leeds to receive a bid of this kind! This is such a prestigious event. So many teams all over the UK compete throughout the season to win a bid to be able to attend the world championships.
We were one of very few lucky enough to receive a bid. Our dancers gained 1st place !! With the third highest score of the whole competition. Our little 9- 12 year olds ranked higher than most of the adult teams. Something we never thought possible. Let alone winning a bid! This was after having 3 years out with the pandemic too!
We were blown away!! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our kids. To represent our country at the world championships. We never thought this little community group from Leeds would be heading to the world championships.
We need your help to help get these kids to America! We have no funds what so ever to put towards this trip as our main focus is keeping our community group going. The parents will be funding the trip themselves, along with coaches funding their own trip too and we want to make this as affordable as possible for these kids, parents and coaches and to make the Dream of competing in the world championships come true. These family’s are giving up so much and making so many sacrifices just to get the kids there.
We have a long line of expenses just to get there. Which include:
• Competition entry cost - £250- £500 per person. (We have to have this to be able to take part and compete)
• Licensed music costing us $600. (We have to have this to be able to take part and compete)
• Insurance for each individual dancer & coach £50 plus each. (We have to have this to be able to take part and compete)
• The Dancers will all need costumes £40 plus each • Trainers
• Training Wear - vest, shorts, bag and tshirt.
This is just to name a few things.. We would appreciate any help at all to help raise some funds so we can help cover the things mentioned above and make this trip as low cost as possible for our dancers and coaches.
