The University of Leeds Celtics Cheerleaders are raising money in aid of Beat and every donation will help. Our committee members will be completing a 1000km marathon collectively until February 11th to raise awareness around eating disorders and support Beat charity.
Eating disorders have affected ourselves, friends and families and Beat estimates around 1.25 million people in the UK suffer from a type of eating disorder. Our money raised will continue to help those still suffering. Please help this cause by contributing and follow us on our journey on Instagram @uniofleedscheer!
...... More information about Beat (Formerly Eating Disorders Association): Beat is the UK's eating disorder charity. Our purpose is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. We do this by working directly with sufferers and their families, and by using that experience to highlight the challenges they face and campaign for change.
Our vision is a society where people with eating disorders experience care and understanding, and where they can quickly access treatment that supports a rapid and sustained recovery.
