Lee Ann's Mission Trip to Peru

My mother, Lee Ann, is the most selfless person I have ever met. She raised me and my three older brothers with compassion and patience, and absolutely always put us first. I can’t even count the amount of hours she spent watching all my soccer games and driving me to and from various fields. Now that my brothers and I are out of the house, it is her turn to do awesome things and to get a chance at following her passions. One of those passions is helping people. My mom has worked for the hearing aid company NewSound Hearing for four years as a licensed hearing instrument specialist. Everyday she helps those with hearing problems find the perfect hearing aid and thus enables them to effectively communicate with their loved ones and friends. I know my mom absolutely loves her job and gets great satisfaction from helping those with hearing loss.

Every year, NewSound Hearing partners with Starkey Hearing Foundation to go on a mission trip to a developing country and give the gift of hearing to those in need. This year’s trip is to Peru at the end of October, and my mom was selected as one of six to go on this trip to represent NewSound. However, with one of my brothers and myself still in college, this trip is not economically feasible. I sadly recognize the fact that my being in college is holding my mom back from fulfilling her dreams. Please help me raise the funds for my mom to go on this once in a lifetime trip.
