- Hi there, I want to share with you the story of my dear friend Lee-Anne who was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb. 2023. She has been sharing her journey on Facebook to help with breast cancer awareness and to give a bird's eye view into what women and some men go through when faced with a breast cancer diagnosis. It hasn't been an easy journey so far with multiple complications, surgery, treatments and financial strain. Due to the long wait time for surgery and treatments, Lee-Anne's cancer progressed to stage 3 and has brought on new obstacles. Lee-Anne's journey has just begun with kicking this cancer's a**, unfortunately, she is unable to work which cuts her income by more than half. She is a proud and independent woman who lives alone with her adorable emotional support poodle, Olive. I have started this Gofundme to help alleviate some financial stress from her cost of living and added medical expenses.
