My name is Edgardo Mercado. I am Leeana Mercado’s dad. Leeana recently won the Puerto Rico national tournament and is the 50kg U20 Puerto Rican national champion. Leeana will now represent Puerto Rico for Pan Ams in Chile and world championships in Poland. I’m trying to raise the money to help her get to these to big events. Leeana is also New Jersey high school 107 pound state champion. Leeana attends Lodi High School where she is the first female state champion and 1 of 4 state champions in school history. Leeana is a very hard worker on and off the mats. Leeana has made the honor roll every marking. This year Leeana has been training for this moment for the past 3 years to achieve this goal and has been wrestling for 8 years now.
