Hi, there. I am writing for my husband, Lee Todd Lacks.

Lee Todd has faced overwhelming obstacles throughout his life. He has lived most of his life with very little vision and very little hearing. As if that weren't enough, Lee Todd is currently on dialysis and awaiting a kidney transplant.

Over the last 2 years, Lee Todd has been focused on creative pursuits to keep from feeling like the perennial patient. To that end, Lee Todd has created a digital synthesizer, labeled Double Wide, with unique features that allow those with limited vision to create, using primarily tactile means.

Lee Todd presented his work to New Interfaces For Musical Expression (NIME), an international organization. He has been invited to their conference in Utrecht, Netherlands this September.

Given all that Lee Todd has been through, he would love to have some time to share his creation with the conference attendees and a global audience.

Funds raised would help Lee Todd travel and allow someone to travel with him as a sighted guide and provide him support manuevering while in the conference.
