This past week our dad, Lee Hight, had a freak accident that led him to be life flighted to Duke. Dad is dealing with many complications at this time with the most serious being a high impact brain injury. Our recovery journey is going to very tough and very long. We remind ourselves we must be patient.  But we are going to be right by his side every step of the way. We are praying for a miracle and that dad will fight so hard and overcome all of this.

If you know him you love him! He’s a character for sure. So much so the last time he was at Duke he wanted his checkbook so bad to write out bills. As we navigate this uncertain time, we are leaning in and opening our arms to any and all support.

We appreciate the love, prayers, and generosity from everyone. We are all right by dad rooting for him!
