Hi, my name is Jess, I’m 37 and work as a pharmacy technician. My husband, Lee, is 34 and lives with multiple sclerosis. We have two young children together.
Lee’s MS is progressing quickly, and he is rapidly losing the ability to walk. On a recent family trip to Kew Gardens, the pain was so severe he had to use a wheelchair. Having that chair made the day possible for him. It was a huge help and allowed him to enjoy time with us again.
We now know a wheelchair is no longer a “someday” purchase. It is something Lee needs urgently.
Unfortunately, our landlord has just told us they are selling the house we rent, so we are suddenly facing the cost of moving at the same time. We can’t afford to cover both urgent needs at once.
We’re asking for your help to raise the funds for a wheelchair so Lee can keep his independence, spend more quality time with our children, and take part in everyday life without constant pain.
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a real difference to our family. Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can give.
