Lee Cosens Memorial Fund

On April 16, 2023, Lee Cosens passed away following a 2-year battle with stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer just one day shy of his 40th birthday. Lee was a loving husband to his wife Amy and devoted father to his two young daughters.

Lee was a police sergeant with Bradenton PD and a veteran with the 293rd Military Police Company. He served from 2007 – 2012 including a tour in Kandahar, Afghanistan from 2009 – 2010. He was passionate about advocating for military and police officers and was a representative for the Police Benevolent Association.

Outside of work, Lee loved traveling, spending time with his family, Michigan Football, and being on the water. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

Donations will provide much needed support to Lee’s family to cover medical and funeral costs, as well as everyday expenses as they adjust to life as a family of three. A portion will be used to create an eternal reef.
