This fundraiser is supported by the dear friends of Lee Coleman, Ellis Smith and wife Ollie O. and Ruth Brown.
A serious and unexpected illness landed Lee Coleman in Intensive Care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA with frightening uncertainty of whether he would ever return home. His right carotid artery was blocked entirely, and his left carotid artery allowed only 2 percent of blood to his brain. An excellent surgical team and a mighty mountain of prayers for Lee from hundreds of you made a difference!
He and his wife McNeal, of 46 years, encountered a large amount of unexpected medical bills, which have now depleted their resources. The goal is $ 123,000 to help reduce their burden.
Lee thanks every single one of you for your prayers that pulled him through!!
Lee was recently released from the Cedars-Saini hospital into Cedars Saini intensive, extended rehabilitation and returned home, where he continues his rehab.
With God's blessing and the love and care of his wonderful wife McNeal, he's continuing to make progress.
Statements from Lee's Friends:
"I’ve known Lee Coleman since grade school, along with his Mother, Father and his immediate family. We have remained very close friends since growing up together in a small village in Louisiana. Lee is one of the most thoughtful, considerate and compassionate people I’ve ever known. He has not only reached out to help people in his community during family tragedies, illnesses, deaths, and funeral services but helps cover expenses as well. He and his wife McNeal often reach out to friends and loved ones throughout the country sharing their grief and helping to reduce their financial burdens.” -Nat Jackson
“Lee Coleman and I have been friends since we were 13 years old. He’s always been kind and generous not only to friends and family, but also to people he didn’t know. At the present time Lee has been unable to return to his profession of many years as a real estate broker. I would love for those of you who love Lee to contribute to his GoFundMe page to help his family until he’s back on his feet. Love you all for the support of your friend and mine, “Leotis Coleman.” -Ellis Smith
“Leotis Coleman is a compassionate person who both feels and expresses sympathy for others. He shows understanding to others’ situations. There are a lot of people we meet in our lives but only a few people will make a lasting impression on our minds and hearts. Lee always listens and talks to you, he cares about your happiness and well-being.” -Ruth Brown
Please consider giving $20, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford, and please share this GoFundMe page with others. Every contribution is deeply appreciated!
