Hi, my name is Jeffery and I am fund raising for Lee and Karen Hall.

You may have heard that Lee and Karen Hall were woken up early in the morning on Friday June 9, 2023, by a loud bang caused by the tires blowing on their tractor that was in the metal shop, that was on fire.

A fire started in the southwest corner of the shop where the cordless tools were stored and quickly spread throughout the whole facility.

They were only able to save the small building to the south of the metal shop and a customer’s truck that was parked nearby. The fire was so intense that it burned all the contents and melted the sea can that was directly behind the metal shop.

For anyone that knows Lee and Karen you know they’d be the first ones there if you needed them.

Always giving back their community; whether coaching baseball, organizing Canada day celebrations, or mentoring a young shooter. Karen is a long time member of the Blackie Community Association as well as Rebekah's lodge.

Lee and Karen are giving people by nature and if the shoe were on the other foot, they would be the first ones there pulling up their sleeves to help where needed or pulling out their wallets to give to someone going through hard times.

Lee and Karen even used the annual Team JW shoots as a way to give back, whether they were raising money for Stars air ambulance, local organizations, 4H club or other local shoots. They even raised a large sum for their neighbor who couldn’t enter the chuckwagon races because they were cancelled during Covid.

They are always willing to help and are truly focused on giving back.

If the shoot wasn’t cancelled this year because of the fire, the goal was to raise $20,000 for Stars.

If you are able to, please give what you can to support Lee and Karen to help rebuild the shop or replace some of the many contents they lost. Intial estimate would be that replace costs would be approaximately $500,000.
